Qualifications/Job Description

 
Summary of Position Description: Process HQ biweekly payroll, Field Office monthly labor distributions, and provide general accounting support.
 
Critical Duties:
 
Process HQ biweekly payroll:
·Record personal data and salary data in Costpoint and ADP
·Obtain W4 forms and retirement contribution forms
·Record taxes, deductions, reimbursements and payroll changes
·Upload timesheets from Time Collection to Costpoint
·Transfer biweekly payroll to ADP
·Verify payroll when returned from ADP
·Initiate wire transfers for overseas personnel
 
Process Field Office timesheets:
·Record personal data and salary data in Costpoint and ADP
·Upload field office timesheets from Time Collection to Costpoint
·Confirm field office monthly salaries
·Post labor distribution
 
 
Perform account reconciliations:
·Operating account
·Petty cash
·Payroll liability accounts
 
Perform miscellaneous duties:
·Prepare payroll journal entries
·Assist staff with preparing timesheet corrections
·Update timesheet templates for staff
·Answer internal and external payroll inquiries
·Handle W2 inquiries for HQ and expatriate staff
·Respond to internal and external auditor requests
·Initiate wire transfers for participant taxes
·Handle requests for petty cash
·Close interaction and coordination with Human Resources
·Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
 
·Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
·2-4 years experience in an automated payroll environment. Costpoint and ADP experience preferred.
·Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
·Good oral and written communications.
·Good interpersonal people skills
·Good analytical skills.
